Fitting information for all blind types

All our blinds come with all the necessary fixings to allow you to easily fix your blind. When fitting your roller blind, you need to use the appropriate fixing depending on what type of wall or window you are fixing to. Here are some suggestions as to what might work for you:

Wooden windows - If you are fitting directly into a wooden window, then wood screws would be the best option. We would recommend wood screws of at least 25mm, or longer if your frame allows to make sure that the blind is properly fixed.

PVC windows - While many customers fix roller blinds using wood screws or similar into uPVC windows, this is not something we would recommend, as this may invalidate any warranty you may have with your window supplier. In this instance we would recommend that you fix the blind to the wall above the window, either inside or outside the window, using appropriate fixings for your wall type.

Fixing to a wall - Fixing a roller blind to a wall, will require you to choose the correct fixings for your wall type.

Raw Plugs or Hollow wall fixings are all suitable, but please bear in mind, that when you raise and lower your blind, you may exert a little pulling force on that side of the blind, so make sure the fixings are particularly firm on that side.
